Default Best costume change (that isn't reverting to an old one)

What are some of the best costume changes that you think heroes have had. I specifically mean that the two costume have to come in a row (you can't compare someone's 1st and 5th costume) and the new costume can't be a reversion to an old one - it has to be redesign.

I liked Zatanna's early 80s costume much better than her copying her mother's outfit. I just don't like the look the black one. I'll admit, it took a while for me to come to like the lobsterhead one, but I did. As mentioned by someone else, I really like that it isn't a take on either what her father or mother wore, but is her own thing.

    Nightwing comes to mind.
For sure he is not going back to disco neck or to pantless Robin.

Ironically though most people probably associate Zatanna's iconic look with her more than they do Zatara because she's way more popular than he is.

John Stewart's modern costume with the black bodysuit and green pecs and shoulders is such a simple yet perfect look. Massive upgrade from his green-stripe-down-the-middle suit.

Yeah, but from a story perspective, there was certainly a while there where her major storylines revolved around her parents.

Golden Age Green Lantern to Silver Age Green Lantern. Golden Age Flash to Silver Age Flash. Original Blue Beetle to Ted Kord Blue Beetle. (Different secret identities, but the same "character".)

Kid Flash's yellow costume, after his original which was the exact same as the Flash's.

Earth-Two Robin's second costume (the Neal Adams design) after the Batman hybrid costume.

Wonder Girl's 2019 Young Justice costume.

Nightwing's 1995 costume was a big improvement over his 1992 costume, and all of his costumes since have followed that template.

Speaking of Blue Beetle, Post Crisis we briefly got to see Dan Garrett go from his long time all blue outfit…

…to this Paris Cullens redesign, which I thought looked kick ass!

Don't know if it counts, since it's a different character under the mask, but the update to the Robin costume when Tim Drake took on the moniker is the standard from which all Robin designs have stemmed from since, and with good reason.

Wonder Woman's current look is the only good thing that came from the Snyderverse.

Cyborg's Ivan Reis' look and the upcoming look are both massive improvements over anything else that character has worn (been?)

Red Hood's New 52 look. I dislike Jason, but that design is solid.

Recent Dan Mora's redesigns for the Fab Five teen titans. I hope they canonize those hard!

Anything with a jacket. Jackets are awesome.
ConnEr Kent flies. ConnOr Hawke has a bow. Batman's kid is named DamiAn.

To do spoiler tags, use [ spoil ] at the start of the sentence and [ /spoil ] at the end, without the spaces. You're welcome!

It's really a great superhero design of her. I love the kimono sleeves even the "bughead" symbolism is pretty if we take a look from some mythology on Eastern Asian culture. In short it's could symbolising Zatanna progression as character (well she become JLA leader with that outfit) plus her determination to do the best even against insurmountable odds.

That being said, I kinda sad that outfit is tainted with Identity Crisis fiasco. Heck DC even advertising bughead Zatanna as Identity Crisis toy xd

Jessica Cruz's Green Lantern costume after her Power Ring costume.

Rick Tyler's JSA Hourman costume after his Infinity Inc. costume.

Beth Chapel's current costume after the weird banana costume from Infinity Inc.

That banana was meant to be a crescent moon.

That Donna example above was a good one - it was good enough to last nearly two decades with only minor changes - she only drastically changed her look again when she was forced to ditch the Wonder Girl identity due to Crisis.

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I liked Aquaman's blue costume.
