I don't know people forgot about Eternals pretty fast I can see same thing happening with Marvels and it's a shame I thought both were alright.

ppl seem to be just watching than talking about it. It was the most watched last year and it is still doing respectable numbers in comparison to other mcu movies this year

Just saw the movie and enjoyed it! Think the release timing is the main reason for the box office being below expectations and the strikes obviously didn't help.

If you're a fan of most Marvel movies, you should like this one. As some in the thread have mentioned, you actually want the movie to go a bit longer, which is a good thing to want in a movie!

Also thought the cat solution was one of the most craziest, hilarious things I've seen!

The Marvels has actual merit beyond a meme that was based on a line that didn't actually appear in the film.

I maintain that the X-Men (at least the original timeline) and the Fantastic Four exist in the same universe. Not sure if Hulk or Dr. Strange would fit, but I can't think of anything that would contradict it. Same for Daredevil or Ghost Rider.

If they are going to have heroes from other universes meet, though, it might be better if they were spread out through other universes (even if just to see a few of them get destroyed for shock value).

And this is probably what will happen with the Marvels. I've noticed a trend whee films that don't do well in theaters end up being #1 in streaming. That leads credence to my theory that a lot of people are simply waiting now. The pandemic made us much more patient.
