Exactly. Hey. maybe he has a limp so they call him the Penguin? Another character that evades his comic book origins. Maybe Batman will make a cameo. Not interested . More stuff that can only make it on streaming.

Doesn't look anything too Batman universe specific. Sure uses those mob characters AND mob themed Batman stories are good......with Batman.
Will I watch it, sure. Do I expect too much, not really.

I get that people making shows are looking for anything that will make their show stand out and using the name of a famous comic book character, like the Penguin, in a show that has nothing to do with that character is a way to do it. So, I hope it works for them. Personally, not interested. I'm not interested in gang stories and even Batman only makes that interesting because it's really about Batman. But, personally, the more "realistic" Batman gets, hence the more like a real crime drama, the less I am interested.

Its Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire and numerous other similar shows cloaked thinly with a cape and cowl overture.
