I love the Rod Reis cover with Cable ripping up the Children's photo. I also like the somewhat parallel glow of Bishop's right eye (which is actually a reflection from his gun) and Cable's left one, not sure if it's intentional but I dig it!

Yeah that Reis cover is gorgeous. I guess that photo is part of the propaganda the Children are using to position themselves as "humanity's salvation" as the solicit says. Offering humanity enhancements? I'm really looking forward to this book.

Same here. It also gets or taps into the arguments some people have had or made about superheroes not sharing their hyper-advanced technology with the rest of humanity and how that could have contributed to all the suspicion and disdain they've faced from considerable swaths of the general public in-universe over the years. Basically, the Children of the Vault, possibly the first true examples of homo novissima, will be presenting themselves as humanity's true saviors and benefactors by giving them the power to protect and defend themselves and their own interests, as opposed to the superheroes who, by that same logic, are keeping humanity dependent on their "dubious protection" and therefore stagnant.

After reading the solicitations for august, i was wondering if Cable/Bishop are going to be siding with the cotv (or some of them) for whatever reasons.
The author talked about differents opinions within the Children. Also Serafina dont like Orchis, and let Forge and Talon escape...

Uh-huh. Thanks, though. The ethics of superpowers is something that's interested me for a good while now, ever since the original Civil War in Marvel and the Cadmus arc/saga in Justice League Unlimited for DC.
