Is the Krakoan Era really coming to a close, or did Brisson misspeak?

Jean Grey in the words of Walt Whitman, from his masterpiece Leaves of Grass, "Song of Myself" (51 and 52):
"Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)"
"Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged, Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you."
I don't think so. That's just how they're trying to market Fall of X.
Hickman left because the X-office wanted to keep playing in the Krakoan sandbox. I don't think that what they've done since Inferno even begins to scratch the surface of what could be done. That couldn't have been all they wanted to say about Krakoa, IMO.
I do think that FoX will mark the end for *some* elements of the current status quo, but not all of it. I think the overdone Resurrection protocols are probably the most at risk, but now that pretty much every character that matters is already back, there's not much use for it anymore other than continuing to kill X-men with no consequences every issue.
End the previous era.
Marvel always resets back, even it's slow.
I’m ready for a new era, so I personally hope he was being literal.
"When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world No, you move."
He probably has a Glob story to finish.
Glob’s unique paraffin body made him immune to Sinister‘s DNA manipulation. And by connecting to old paraffin remains in the past, he could transfer his consciousness into the remains of his past body and warn everyone of the future.

I’m genuinely interested to see if the X-office can come up with a creative way to move past the Krakoa era without it looking like a backtracking of the franchise. I’m not under any illusion that Krakoa didn’t have problems both in it’s premise and it’s execution, but HOX/POX was the first time that the franchise genuinely felt like it was moving forward since Decimation in 2005. I think it would take a really strong creative voice, but I’m hoping that the X-Office puts the effort in to have the end of Krakoa not be an end to stories where mutants are more than hated and feared, and still have a real sense of community.
