I think they should end it.
I think the quality of writing demonstrates that every good possible story with Spiderman has been told.
Wait 50 years and maybe a new crop of writers can do something with him.
OR end the book and create new characters with new stories.
To be fair, I don't trust anyone. I always thought Zdarsky was the perfect choice but then he said he is a fan of the current run, so...
Anyone can **** up a Spider-Man comic, so to me it's just a matter of luck. The only person I know he won't **** it up is me, so I think I should be the next writer
Someone who doesn't mind driving with Nick Lowe having one hand on the wheel.

Marvel's probably made the decision at this point.
I wonder if Mackay taking over X-Men makes him more or less likely. It shows Marvel obviously trusts him with a big project, but with that and two issues of Avengers a month, he may not have enough time. Granted, he also has an event book in Blood Hunt, but that's finished in July and Spider-Man is part of it (though sci-fi writer Justina Ireland is covering the Spider-Man mini-series.)
My choice of Deniz Camp might be in contention because he's gone from the X-Men project to the Ultimates relaunch.
Sincerely,
