Default ultimate spiderman was special but why

when I was reading ultimate spiderman, not miles one,1st one
I become more attached than 616 /m2 or any other one
its certian not due to modern era story ,
what diffrent character trait he had from 616 spiderman anybody had analyzed?

Well for starters, it’s set in the 21st century. It’ll probably be easier to resonate with the more modern setting than the 60’s.

It has a more cohesive story rather than an episodic one.

While decompression is rightly criticized, it still allows for more time on characters and plot points that would just feel rushed in a single book.

Personally, I like how the narrative focuses on the traumas of each of the characters rather than just using them as excuses.

Bendis had 40 years of hard work and creativity to cherry pick through and acted like he was actually creating something.

    Don’t all adaptations do that?
