I vote MRP!
Stony I like the variation.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Forgot to post a cover but my vote is for nx01a.

I'm awake so I will do the tally for a change. We have a tie...
with 1 vote Squirrelman, K7p5v, Scott Taylor, icctrombone and WestPhillyPunisher.
with 2 votes Kirby101, Nschornhorst and foxley
with 3 votes, MRP (me)
and tied with 4 votes each nxo1a and Stony.
If someone who hasn't voted yet can vote for one of those two entries to break the tie, it will be much appreciated.
nxo1a's entry
and Stony's entry

Congrats to nx01a, and thanks to mrp and ChadH for the votes.

The peak of the week where the captain explains what (if anything) he has learned in this contest is about the status of the Fantastic Four as one of the strongest pillars of the Marvel Universe. As a plug for the book, I invite anyone interested in reading the current version of the book as it approaches its 700th issue. By the way, I only speak legacy numbering with the FF. FF 1 is a book from 1961 and is a holy grial for Marvel collecting. It is not a number to be applied to more than a half-dozen other issues. Seriously. Hey, you kids get offa my lawn.
I have seen my entry FF 126 as being called the earliest homage of FF1. Anybody who can disprove that, please let me know!
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
