Apparently, Cena is still, far and above, the #1 Merchandise seller with Reigns and Styles fighting over the #2 spot.

Cena moves merch like coke sold in Miami in the 80s

I see whole families rocking Cena gear at shows

I like the concept behind the gimmick, as far as him resenting all the Indy guys showing up taking the opportunities.

But I didn't buy the gimmick from him. Growing his hair act and looking like he hasn't bathed in a month doesn't magically transform him into a believable bad @$$.

WWE is going out of their way today to state that champions like Jinder, Seth, and Nia are not safe from the Superstar Shakeup™ tonight.

I wonder who and which champions might get shuffled around?

They've also gone out of their way to mention Charlotte, Finn, Orton, Nak, and Becky in lot of the pressers. I think that means they're all safe.

    What do you guys think?

Sort of makes you wonder about him, though doesn't it? He wasn't picked up by the WWE for developmental. And as far as I know he wasn't looked at by TnA or Lucha Underground or any other major wrestling fed, despite getting national exposure. I almost think there's something about him which seems to turn off wrestling promoters because he does have a good look. And by Tough Enough standards he seemed fine in the ring.

I'll have to think about my list a litte more, but I hope generally speaking Smackdown gets a LOT of help.

RAW already got all the cool NXT call ups. In addition they got Sami and KO for free since they were fired from Smackdown. So RAW going into the Shake up already has all the new talent it needs.

Smackdown never really recovered from a bad superstar shake up last year. Hopefully they get some love.

Also it must be said that what you buy is what you have access to. So if at a live show or your local hot toic mostly displays Cena stuff then that's what people are buying.

At many of the Smackdown Live shows and house shows I been to over the past year, the most popular merch I saw being sold was Cena, Styles, and Reigns merch.

Same thing with Alex Riley. He seemed to fell off the Earth as well.

How many spots are up for the shakeup? Granted it's probably a kayfabe number. I'm just curious.

    Anyway I'd do:

    RAW
    Jinder
    Flair
    Ziggler
    Orton
    Jericho

    SMACKDOWN
    Rollins
    Bayley
    Big Cass
    Machine Gun
    Ambrose

Sprinkle in some NXT call-ups and perhaps add Neville to Smackdown.

He's acting. He had a guest star role in GLOW And has a couple of stuff coming out later this year.
