Watching Lucha Underground for the first time, I have to say that while I enjoyed it I think Cornette actually had some valid points. Originally Posted by SUPERECWFAN1

Two thirds of the matches were inter-gender... which isn't necessarily something I'm a huge fan of. Though they were fun matches and still tell a story.
Overall if nothing else I'm impressed that it's doing something different and establishing it's own identity rather than trying to be WWE-like (like TNA). And what it's trying to do, it's doing well IMO. I do think Cornette made some valid points about the believability of the product and how it was produced (and really I disagree with Cornette 70% of the time), but I can appreciate the fact that it's a product with a very different look and feel.
Vince Russo must love it though, at least in terms of format. Not sure how he feels about a show based on foreign guys running around.
