I think you're right about Aries, I don't know if he was willing to sign a no-compete for a few months and they just let him off.

Jason Jordan looks to change Elias' tune in painful fashion.

After Elias blasted Jason Jordan with his guitar during their match two weeks ago, Jordan fired back last week and delivered a guitar counter-assault.

Accordingly, WWE.com has learned that the two Superstars will come to Manchester, England this Monday night to go head-to-head in a Guitar-on-a-Pole Match on Raw.

The contest, which can only be won when a Superstar retrieves the guitar and uses it on his opponent, promises to leave one of these competitors singing the blues.

Those Anthem guys really were suckers. They bought a company that was in a huge financial hole... how could they not see they were just going to get sucked into it?

At this point, I wonder if they shouldn't just sell the tape library to Vince and cut their loses.

Because the previous owners were doing creative accounting (sounds like they had money from tons of different sources and promising equity to each one) and they probably had no idea what the overrun was. That said, they did a lot of stupid things like signing a bunch of talent once they bought the company too.

And from a vanity standpoint, a lot of wrestling fans would totally own a wrestling organization. If I were a billion billionaire I would try it.

Basically what happened was, TNA's previous owners did a lot of creative accounting that bordered on fraud to hide their debt. They listed a lot of borrowed money as an asset for example so when Anthem bought them, they thought they had enough resources to go on a hiring spree and put up more production investment....the reality soon hit and that combined with the jarret situation has cost them a lot of money

Apparently Emma, Summer Rae, and Darren Young are being paid until February under their non-compete clause.

I'm a little surprised both KO and Sami are shut out of SS. I wonder if they will sneak them in there in the are substitutes.

i've heard conflicting reports about aries asking for his release and just being let go.

Basically what happened was, TNA's previous owners did a lot of creative accounting that bordered on fraud to hide their debt. They listed a lot of borrowed money as an asset for example so when Anthem bought them, they thought they had enough resources to go on a hiring spree and put up more production investment....the reality soon hit and that combined with the jarret situation has cost them a lot of money

they only have themselves to blame for the thing with slapnuts, drunk or sober he's not worth a ****.

the format for impact has been interesting as of late, they'll show some stuff from the impact zone and then show stuff including matches with their stars in other international promotions like NOAH, the CRASH, and AAA. it's like nothing i've seen on tv before and actually kind of cool.

Everyone knows that Dixie borrowed money from 2-3 sources. Her biggest 1st loans and ones she signed paper work with was ...Anthem. Its how they ended up with the company basically. Because they were smart enough to put a stipulation in that if Dixie was unable to pay back loans and needed more , they had 1st look at buying the company fully out. Corgan wasn't smart enough in a sense to realize that Dixie had a deal with them 1st. Also remember the Harris brothers had a company and Dixie got them in the same way.

In all ways Anthem was smart , they knew to get something written that they'd have a shot at owning the company with loans.
