to me the main problem with his gear is there seems to be no reason for it.

i'd give him some boxing trunks since he's supposed to be a KO artist anyways. maybe use drake younger's old look(boxing trunks & tank top) including a hair cut.

Yeah, if he's a knock out specialist looking like an MMA fighter might make more sense than looking like a basketball player.

Though really almost anything would make more sense, or at least as much sense as looking like a basketball player.

Now those guys have a cool look and I'd keep that theme. It sounds bad ass , no clue what its saying ...but it sounds bad ass. These guys look like the Canadian mountain men version of Briscoe brothers.

The basketball gear works if you are going to different cities and trying to get a hometown pop. Cena made the throwback jersey look work.

There is a gimmick as an out of shape past his prime fighter, who still has that one move that can take out anybody. Just some old guy, who tells the youngsters exaggerated tales of his past. Like the time he beat Flair and Haystack Calhoun at the Silverdome for the FTW championship.

One War Games that history seems to have forgotten is ...one Cornette was asked about and its the New York one. But yes Crockett ran a War Games card in the New York/New Jersey area from what Jim brings up. This was at the Nassau Coliseum.


- This was around 87/88 as well in that time and Crockett had all the big stars go for this. The Midnight Express met Bill Apter for a photo shoot and he took em on a tour of Rockefeller Center as well. They also did radio and TV spots to sell the show.


- Jim brings up that this was also at the same time where he and the guys got stranded in a slum neighborhood in New York at a McDonald's. The limo driver locked the keys in the car and there standing was 2 blond guys dressed in pink as well as him wearing a pink suit. Cornette got so scared he went and hid in the bathroom for 30 minutes and Jim admits people were starting to talk and look at them. Which spooked him.


- The Nassau Coliseum is a hard sell at times for WWF fans . That those fans were tough on WWF , imagine them coming to see Crockett Productions. And the crowd was like WTF is this ? Cornette brings up that he really hadn't been booked and did shows in North East so he didn't know how to handle those type of crowds in Nassau. That a lot of the crowds in the South/Mid-West are more wild and react more. But this crowd was reserved.

It sucks but domestic violence is serious. Swann really is a guy who I root for. Hopefully, he is exonerated and the charges are false.
