Smackdown did lose a lot of dead weight. Ascension, Breezango, Jinder, the Hype Bros .... top to bottom the roster looks stacked.

I really wanted Balor on Smackdown. They're doing nothing with him on Raw so I was hoping he would come to round off the top talent at Smackdown.

He's a natural Heel and he should stay that way for as long as possible.

I'm curious to see Zelina wrestle, but ultimately I think she needs to stay a valet for Ciens at least for now. I'm not sure he can keep his heat without her. In a lot of ways she made him.

Iconic Duo is sort of like the Bellas. They are dangerous 2 on 1 or as a Tag team, but typically don't do as well on a level playing field.

I do think having Joe and The Bar kind of ruined Greatest Battle Royal though.

The Bar makes the tag match super predictable.

But the IC and US title matches sort of make things interesting. It's unlikely possible the brands could end up swapping belts again.
