i recognized one of the saudi arabia try out guys mansoor al-shehail, he's been working the central & northern california scene for a few years. he goes by manny faberino and does a gimmick where he brags about being "only 17 years old". i'd think he was an american, no accent at all. not sure why he had to try out in saudi rather than in the states. he's a graduate from the hoodslam school in oakland.

I read that Sami Zayn wasn't in the GRR because he is a Syrian Muslim. Syria and Saudi relationship being strained I guess they didn't want to risk anything. That sucks

Nothing's changed other than him having a head band. I'm hoping they do something with him because he's becoming as boring as he used to be.

IN all fairness, there's only so much you can do in a battle royal. There were a lot of very talented in-ring performers in the Rumble who gave fairly boring performances because there's only so much you can do. In fact I'd argue the first half of that Rumble nearly put me to sleep ... Titus woke me up, and I do think the laster third or so was actually pretty fun.

Funnest part of the Rumble might have been the commentary. By the Rumble itself you could tell the announce team was out there WAAAY too long. They were losing it.

In a sign that all isn't well with Rock's newest film "Fighting with My Family" the film was pushed back from September of 2018 to now March of 2019. The studio claimed there was a glut of releases in September. In fact here is the release schedule for September and its clear , the film was pushed back for a reason than the belief there was heavy releases (since none of the movies listed scream huge films then).

But the cool thing is that even though there were no female wrestlers on the shiw, WWE at least snuck that in, intentional or not. And if indeed got a positive response, at least that's something.

Wow, $200 mill and the GSA footed the bill. Sweet deal. Maybe they ought consider having a Greatest Money in the Bank, Greatest Hell in the Cell, and Greaterst Survivor Series too. They just need to increase the number of participants in everything.
