And the winner with three votes: WestPhillyPunisher

I hope his ban gets lifted in time to start a new contest.
Anybody know how to get in touch with him outside of the Forum to get an update (or maybe to start a new contest on his behalf in the meantime)?

Congratulation to WestPhillyPunisher for his Double D cover. Just so you know Rule 34 is a weakness of mine.

And now, the Peak of the Week and what the captain has learned from this contest: It's the USS Enterprise. Splitting infinitives for well over 50 years. I'm so old, I've seen first run Kirk on television. Star Trek in comics though has had one major disappointment for me. The original Enterprise was often drawn poorly. The perspective of the warp nacelles just didn't work. I'm sure some of you have the same lamentation.

At the least, we can get a tie-break to pick second place should we have to go to another winner.

    Iron Maiden!
    Stony
    Riv86672
    Dalak.

    Congratulations WPP!
    Thanks for your vote Stony!

We should probably set a time limit for WPP to respond.
    Suggestions?

If we go to a tie break, I'll vote for Stony! Because lots of Ds and because it was my alternate choice for the example cover. Dalak was a close runner up.

Thanks to Dalak, MajorHoy and PaulBullion for the votes....and for helping me secure my 20th win in the Cover Contest! To be honest, I didn't think it stood a chance! Color me pleasantly surprised!

Dunno much about Star Trek, outside of the Kirk/Spock version. But, I'm glad WestPhillyPunisher was able to pull-off a win. Congratulations!

Truly Classic, in every sense of the word...
