Yeah, I know, but I feel like even a five-year old Damian would be hardcore .

    That looks nothing like Jon.

Looks nothing like Damian but the pose is from Batman and Robin Annual, An arc where Damian assumes the role of a mini Batman watching over Gotham for 3nights while Bruce is away.

Damian also strikes the exact same pose in Lil Gotham. The festive issue. In that issue, he's in his PJs, driving round the Manor in a kiddy version of the Batmobile [a christmas presents he's just unwrapped]

He strikes the pose only on place of a cape he has a sheet tied around his neck.
It's easy to see what comics inspired this movie and those comics predate Jon Kent.

Cutesy Damian isn't anything new. He has been around since the Morrison era. So almost as long as Damian has existed.

Hopefully this movie and upcoming show is funny, well written and fully committed to fun not accuracy.
The Adam West version of batman isn't anything like the guy from the comics yet look how beloved that version is.

My son is going to vibe with this. Looks very similar to a lot of the CN shows he watches.

I don't mind the art style. Reminds me of the Ronald Dahl books I grew up reading. Which is a plus.

Well, "cutesy Damian" is kind of knowing for being memorable for how rare it is.

I've seen the art for more modern CN shows.

Makes me miss 90s and early 2000s cartoon art in general. A few were stylistically ugly, but that was more for the kind of show it was. The DCAU, Gargoyles, Ben 10, Avatar, etc all had great art.

Back then there were more Superhero cartoons
These days not so much. The emphasis/trends seels to be situational, comedic or wacky adventures.
At least that's how it seems to me.

I loved Avatar the rest I didn't make it past their 1st seasons.

Sometimes I forget about Alfred's full name. It sounds so villainous. I'm surprised no one's tried to link him with Jonathan Crane yet.

Bane's turkey neck made me chuckle.

This looks fun. Nice to see Batman content targeting the kid demographic, otherwise lately Batman has been a character catering solely to edgelord teenagers.
