It not bad but I.m not sure what I think.

the referential style humour is a reopen I loathe. Quotes from other movies aren't funny. That kick ass quote. Jarring hearing it from Damian.

I really like this Bruce but that line about be4ing a bad dad went down like a lead balloon. Yes, Bruce. you are a very shitty dad in the comics.

maybe after a few views I'll know how I feel.

This movie is now one of my favourites. So heart warming and enjoyable. Can't wait for the spin- off.

It always is kind of interesting to me when they make Damian more "cutesy" and childlike which kind of goes against his characterization a little.

This is a Damian not raised and abused for ten years by the league so yeah a whole new person

Yeah this Damian is different since he was raised by a therapized Bruce who retired and simply became a dad. Roth explained that they decided to go in this direction since they thought that since this was a christmas movie and for the family. Damian reimagined as a regular 8 year old suited the vibe better than the dark mature themes heavy comic version

My wife came across this last weekend and put it one before I even knew what it was. This movie is a blast. Of course any Christmas movie that uses Father Christmas by the Kinks in it's opening scene is my kind of movie. We both loved it and she's not a big comic book fan or anything. I highly recommend to any of you on the fence about it.
