We present to you Age of Marvels: New Universe, a collection of all new fan-made issues on “sale” this month for JUNE 2023!

What is “Age of Marvels” and how does it work?

Age of Marvels is a fan fiction universe and solicitation game that has been in existence on the CBR boards for well over a decade! It has gone through several iterations and has survived forum reboots! The way it works is that “plotters” write short solicitations for monthly comic books! Then participants “buy” the books they want to read! The books with the most buys get rewards. Sounds fun, right? So let’s do this! Which of this month's solicits interest and excite you? Let us know by posting which books you'd pick up in the virtual Age of Marvels Store (this solicitation thread). You can pull as many as you'd like, but also consider your "virtual budget" when making your selections, as sales are used to reward our titles and plotters. Registers are open all month and sales are tallied at the end of the month.

Absolutely anyone can make purchases right here in this thread - so please do!.
It’s free and is basically just saying “I’d read this” or “I like this!” So let us know! There has never been a more excelsior time to join the fun!

But somebody needs to stay at Camp Kirby, ready to sound the call, ready to avenge at a moment’s notice. And Melissa Gold, the soaring Songbird, has finally found her calling.
Her adoptive ward, Gunna Sijurvald, has found a home in Vanaheim with her uncle Hogun. Her lover, Chen Lu, has made peace with the Nüba Jituan and international law enforcement, retiring from costumed antics to become a proper scientist once more.
Where does that leave Melissa?
Once she was a crook; then, a supervillain. But it wasn’t until she got to be a hero that she recognized her true self in the mirror.

Agent Dallas Riordan is cleared of all charges, and appointed as the new Secretary of Defense to replace Zemo. She has a heavy task ahead of her, clearing Zemo’s lackeys out of the inner workings of the Department!
Karla Sofen, aka Moonstone, makes a plea deal with the government to go free: handing over the “keys” to control Agent Carnage, the brain-dead war criminal with a bloodthirsty alien symbiote. I’m sure the CIA will never use the living weapon for unworthy ends.
Warren Worthington III, aka Archangel, is similarly exonerated… and actually, he’s feeling better than he has in years. He’s looking to pay that forward.
Throwing gobs of money at Perry Hammond, his attorney, Warren has his ex-wife Ichisumi Kishi released from prison.
Ultimately, Warren knows, she was just as much a victim of Ramses and AKKΔBA.
Together with his children, Uriel and Eimin, the Worthingtons try to move forward.
But what happened to Ramses… or rather, to Ozymandius? Has he found his way back into the bosom of his master Revelation?
(Revelation happens to be the translation from Greek translation of Apocalypse! Coincidence? Don’t bet on it.)
Meanwhile… what is to become of Warren’s former friend, Secretary Cameron Hodge of the Mutant Affairs Department? Can he survive the fallout from Zemo’s failure?

•While heroes quest to find clarity, it's up to the bad guys to find cover.
•New York had the highest concentration of superheroes on Earth, and it makes sense that it also had the highest concentration of supervillains. SCORPION, SHOCKER, MOLTEN MAN, the SPOT, and SPEED DEMON must steal the warped Shining Trapezohedron from heirophant SHAMASH-SHUM-UKIN in the depths of Lost Lemuria.
•The Shining Trapezohedron shows all of time and space for the right sacrifice, and it's needed to show the blind spots of the Great Old Ones and Outer Gods. As they lead their team through the Spot's portals, Scorpion and Shocker know their team is the required sacrifice but go ahead anyway. The last of humanity won't survive without villains.
•As per their Hell Lord agreement, MAGIK and BLACKHEART defend Limbo from its latest Great Old One invader: cosmic demon ASTEROTH. It doesn't help that she's one of Blackheart's exes. He broke her heart, now she'll break everyone's souls.

“TO ALL THINGS AN END!”
The real Nick Fury has secretly surrendered himself to Clay Quarterman, Director of HAMMER, on the condition that none of the agents recruited by the LMD Max Fury be charged and given a clean slate. Quarterman argues that these "Agents of Fury" have broken several laws and committed numerous felony assaults against the gov't! Why should they be allowed to walk away Scott free? Nick tells his old friend that he's going to let those agents walk because if he doesn't, he'll let it slip out about how the U.S. failed to stop an infiltration of the gov't by LMDs, including a prominent Senator! Then he will announce how the gov't was an accomplice in the death of that Senator!
Quarterman thinks long and hard but he really has no choice. He agrees to Nick's terms, besides there are much bigger problems to deal with and he will need Nick's help. The first thing they will need to do is find out if HAMMER has been infiltrated and if so, how far up the chain does it go? Who can they trust?
Elsewhere, Marcus, Sharon and the rest of the team begin to discuss what their next move should be. Everything they were led to believe has been a lie and their leader was a fraud. How do they cope with this? Marcus believes that they should stay together. But Rachel and Jack don't want any part of this team anymore and just walk out of the room. Roz Solomon and Jack Flagg have been offered work with other spy organizations and decide to leave. That just leaves Marcus and Sharon. Sharon says that despite everything, they made a great team and should continue working together. Marcus agrees, this team maybe over but that doesn't mean their work is done!

Leoben(Number Two) and Simon(Number Four) along with many Centurians have formed The Children of Hera, a new Cylon faction who worship the child! They also know that other members of the Inner Council - Brother John, D'Anna, "Sharon" and Number Five were at first welcoming of Hera but now see her as dangerous to Cylon society. After ending his association with the Hellfire Club, T'Challa gathers his closest advisors to plan their next moves. The most immediate threat is N'Gabo, where Markus Zulu with the help of a mysterious ally is developing hi-tech weapons to use against Wakanda! T'Challa's former associates in the Hellfire Club will no doubt take every opportunity to plot against him. And then there is The Quiet War, an infiltration of LMDs-artificial lifeforms-that threatens humanity at all levels.
With his ally Nick Fury now in HAMMER custody and Tony Stark getting his house back in order, T'Challa decides now is the time to make bold moves! First, he directs Okoye and Akili to reach out to former associates of Fury for a secret meeting. Next, he tells Shuri, to do a complete and thorough sweep of Wakandan society. Look for any abnormalities that would indicate LMD activity and deal with it immediately. As for Markus Zulu and N'Gabo a decision has been made! BLACK TOM CASSIDY's connection to the Earth was strongest in Ireland but his mutant and druidic talents should stand up to the combined might of the trio Mystique mockingly nicknamed the NATURE BROS. For all their natural abilities, there's something decidedly unnatural influencing the Nature Bros, but can Black Tom sever the connection?
•The true masterminds of the Orbia assault aren't happy with this interference, and they take their jobs as caretakers very seriously. This Outer Sphere is very good. Next time, they'll have to be more careful.
•Back at Cassidy Keep, a forlorn AGATHA HARKNESS asks the Outer Sphere for help against a returning evil. Why aren't her own Agents dealing with it? The Bone Court won't like the answer.

Gideon has come into possession of an android from the future (like a sports almanac, but better) who is teaming with futurist Rhona Burchill, formerly known as the Mad Thinker, to consume and incorporate other business into his whether they are willing or not. Jenn is trying to find a legal way to stop him, but there is no law against using knowledge of the future to enhance your business.
Hank Pym’s attention is on the signals from a planet on the opposite side of the sun created by members of the foundation and a scientist named Graviton. Taking a half hour to reach from that planet to Earth, Hank and his daughter Nadia receive what seems to be an invitation.
Moon Girl sends a post card from the Amazon rainforest where she is living with her dinosaur.
Reed has left and is on his way to connect with his wife.

So, good news and bad news Wonder Fam!
The Bad news: Ya boi Simon Williams didn’t get the part in “Sentinel of Liberty: The Steve Rogers Story” (see WORLD WAR ZEMO: ON THE BATTLEFIELD #3). Disney decided to cast Gail Paris as Captain America instead, which Simon has to admit is both stunning and brave.
The Good news: They’re also making a D+ bio-series about the Hulk, a.k.a. Bruce Banner, and the Studio’s VFX department is completely overtaxed - so, to save money, they want to hire an actor that’s already super-strong. Then they can just cheaply paint him green and have him do his own practical effects, like lifting cars, bending steel, etc. Wonder Man is their guy!
Playing both dweeby scientist Bruce Banner and rage-monster Hulk will be the biggest flex of Simon’s acting muscles to date! It’s time to look in the mirror and get into character. “Don’t make me angry. It’ll be bad a bad look for everyone, trust me, just don’t do it!”
Unfortunately for Simon, fellow superhuman actor Dirk “Megawatt” Leydon really wanted the role… and he’s willing to kill Wonder Man to get it!

“BROTHERS”
Springfield, IL-Campus of the Maria Stark Institute: The Maria Stark Inst. is home for many charities. It's also home for numerous research centers and hospitals. One such facility, that deals with brain trauma is where we find Tony Stark sitting next to the bed of his brother Arno, who has been in a coma the past few months. Tony starts talking to Arno, telling him about how their father Howard seemingly returned to life after being dead for so long. He even tells Arno how their father actually stole his body and brought him here to be cared for.
After the initial shock, Tony began to open up and accept his fathers' return from death. It was nice having him around and they were beginning to bond again. He met Tonys' new girlfriend, Maria Bullinski and they got along well. But then Howard begin making very strange decisions, joining Joe Broke-It, a corporate rival and then testifying against his own son for the gov't. Tony couldn't figure out what his father was doing. Soon the truth was revealed, Howard was an LMD, an artificial lifeform sent to play his role in a secret plot called The Quiet War.
But Howard played the role of father too well, willing to sacrifice himself to spare his sons from further pain. Tony tells Arno that he's glad that he wasn't there to witness Howard dying a second time. So after everything that's happened, it's now just Tony and Arno again. He gets up to leave the room, Maria waiting outside to take him home. There they hope to find a way to deactivate the alien technology permanently. But what they ultimately find on that distant planet will surprise them all…

Shen Qi and her brother Shang Chi saved Washington DC from being nuked by Canada last issue. The Strucker twins, Fenris, are in custody along with their father, Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker. The Beaubier twins, Aurora and Northstar have been released back to Canada in a move designed to build sympathy for the USA after what was called World War Zemo.
Shang’s mission is to bring his sister home. Shen has disavowed her father, the despot Fu Manchu but is forced to admit his actions in the event were on the better side. Then again, more moral than a nazi is a rather low bar to set. What neither of the siblings realize is that the follow-up to Fu Manchu’s plan has begun and several sleeper agents have been activated in the DC area. These agents are LMDs purloined by Fu Manchu years ago as he sought methods to infiltrate other nations. He found these early models somewhat awkward and unable to react quickly enough to properly mimic a certain human being. But now, with rebuilding the priority and defenses down, the attempt is surely worth the minimal effort needed.
Can Shen Qi stop her father’s plan? Will Shang Chi help her?

Of course, Jonah Jameson thinks Pete’s all his and isn’t firm on sharing one of his videographers with anybody.
Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, casino and sports books are discovering that the unusual results in recent days are far outside expected probabilities. Math geeks discuss these results online and that gets to Peter who does maintain an online presence in the STEM online community. What bothers Peter and his Spidey-Sense is the factor in the statistically outliers is the presence of Phillippa Garcia and /or her brother.
Peter goes to Capt. George Stacy with what information and statistical analysis he has. Of course, Gwen finds out and wants in on the work. Because the situation crosses state lines, Agent Jean DeWolff, FBI is called in.
Pete’s plan B is to place bets himself and use his Spidey-Sense to find the winning bet.
As for the Amazing Spider-Man, Peter does clean and fill his web shooters this issue.
