I think Johns is an excellent writer...when he has an editor reigning him in.

God knows I don't need to see Judy spilling buckets of blood.

But Johns has the attention span of a hummingbird on meth, and JSA seems to be struggling to hold onto a comic since freakin' Flashpoint.

And only f***ing Geoff Johns has had the opportunity to write the team!!! I mean they got a cameo in that Synder JLA event, but for heavens sake give the team to someone other than Geoff Johns!! This new abomination of a Justice Society book is absolute garbage.

I'd make that more of a was a good writer in the past.

But what I have read by him during the past 10-20 years has usually been disappointing or worse.
Aside from the DC Universe: Rebirth one-shot (back in 2016), I can't think of the last thing he wrote in a while that I really enjoyed.

NOTE: I did not read Doomsday Clock in case people think that was good.
The concept seemed a bit pretentious to me, and then there were all those delays . . .

I love her design, but I also liked the irony of the best father figure in the JSA not having children of his own.

Plus, so damned many Flashes around! How are there still crimes being committed?
Eh it has seems to have the effect of resurrecting Joan whom we were all pretty sure was killed off somewhere. So Jay at the very least got his wife back

I don't care what they do with the revisions.

Yeah, in One Minute War, Jay seemed to be complaining he had nobody left, implying she was gone. Could being pregnant with Judy have resulted in Joan gaining an extended lifespan... which would've been negated with Judy's disappearance? That'd mean she was resurrected when Judy was rescued by Stargirl.

The new book seems pretty fun from the preview and Adams has a good handle on Jay .

Think he should take over the main JSA book? The vacancy just opened up, Johns is out.

Well, it's too early to know if there'll even be a Justice Society of America title after Johns' run when all is said and done, and we don't know how long Johns is still committed to the title before he's finished there.

    "Too early to know."

Ya know, JSA was one of the few successful new series and DC ran it into the ground after Johns left, and they've made no real effort to repair it.

All because they can't comprehend that sometimes, fans like old characters

They had that problem back in the early 1990s with Mike Carlin.

And then they tried to wipe out the old JSA during Zero Hour: Crisis in Time.

Not a fan of the concept or Judy as a character. Shame that Johns damaged Jay like this irreversibly.....

It's not "irreversible" if we have another Crisis undo it all . . .
