Question Absolute favorite soundtrack from a tv show cartoon or film?

the soundtrack of a cartoon film or tv show i feel is important as much as everything else so i ask to listyour favorite soundtrack from a television show cartoon or movie.

Ducktales 1987 has to be my favorite soundtrack and its absolutley criminal that it has never been re-released officaly before as it may be the best soundtrack from a cartoon.

there are unofficial rips on youtube but alot of songs are missing or incomplete.

Darkwing duck is a second favorite soundtrack of mine and is rarely brought up as much.

ya see the thing with humor is that it could either be real funny or completley terrible, the nightmare comes with everyone thinking your unfunny.

Well I'd say Murray Gold's work on Dr. Who.

GOTG Vol. 1, easily. It's the only soundtrack that is great all the way through.

Rocky IV is one of the best workout soundtracks ever.

    Velvet Goldmine

(But it's close. Could be any one of a few films...)

While the movie itsself was not that great, I'll always have a soft spot for the Soundtrack to Less Than Zero. In the mid-80's how do you beat something combines tracks from Slayer, LL Cool J, and The Bangles?

Not sure if it's my fav, but for whatever reason "Grosse Point Blank" came to mind for how specific it is in tone and really is a part of the movie.

    Also, "Pulp Fiction"

    And "The Crow"

    And "Streets of Fire"

    ... and "Rock & Rule"

If going with Soundtrack vs Score for tv then it has to be Miami Vice, the music was so integral it took decades to get a home video release because the creators refused to substitute the music with generic stuff. My number 2 pick would be the show Cold Case.

Just that Haynes had a plan that involved would have been commendable.

That the folks who were not Haynes executed that plan as well as they did?

It's still kind of hard to believe.

I dont know if its my favorite.

But the Cruella soundtrack from last year or the year before was off the hook. All kinds of great stuff.
