Even though its the same costume just with different colors, I love how dapper this guy looks.
Red and black are a classic combination for a reason after all.

That's a very snazzy get-up right there. This book is really great so far. I have the Sandman Mystery Theatre compendium one on my shelf and I'm looking forward to reading it now that I have more time on my hands.
I wonder what their name will be. "Sandman" is because he puts people to sleep. This baddie presumably has gases that do more than that. So... "Beware ... the GAS-man!" ...
Another "dark mirror" version of the main character as a villain? I think DC has gone to the well too many times on that idea, to be honest.
That's always been an archetype for an arch-enemy - every good hero has one. It's just more on the nose with these new ones visually resembling the heroes a lot more. I don't see anything wrong with going to that well since the story and characteristics of each of these villains depends on the hero and should be as varied and distinct as each hero is.

"The Fog" is clever - Fog of war and all that... I guess Sandman did need an ach-enemy. (was there one before?)
