Anyways, as always, good interview. It's interesting to know that Spurrier is not totally satisfied with WoX and admits that some personal stuff might have weighted on the work.
I'm really looking forward to this series.

What's it like for Kurt to be out there adventuring behind a mask as Spider-Man?

It's the purest joy he's known in recent times. The real question is: [why is] he doing it? Like, deep down. Better yet: what isn’t he doing, while he’s out there [swinging] around NY?

The emergence of a new Spidey is bound to catch the attention of Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Do you have plans for either of them in this book? If so, what's it like bouncing them off of Kurt?

Moreso Peter than Miles, but yes -- very much so. Some quite significant involvement. Sometimes you need a friend to point out what's right in front of you, and for Kurt, that's something Peter is extremely good at. Plus, saving his life from rampaging robots, etc.

Who are some of the supporting players that are part of Uncanny Spider-Man?

I'll tease that a fan-favorite superheroic duo comes to play an extremely important and not-what-you-might-expect role, and I'll mention that there's a reading of this book [where it's] basically a romance comic with added battles, and the object of Kurt's affection is one of my favorite characters in the Marvel canon. Spurrier's work has not done it for me but this sounds fun so I'll give it a shot. Hopefully Legion isn't in the cast so we don't get Daddy Issues Vol. 3.

The more i look at it, the more i feel Kurt could have created his own brand new "classic" super hero alter ego, fitting more into his personal design, instead of immitating Spiderman. But i guess that wouldn't have drawn as much attention or worked into Marvel's current playbook of undermining super hero identities by seemingly making them interchangable.

This looks and sounds fun, I like what Spurrier had to say here although I'm not the biggest fan of his X-work.

But Kurt + Spidey + possibly some Spidey villains + Silver Sable as a possible love interest going by the hints + the stuff with Mystique definitely have the potential for a fun cocktail.
