I will check out at least the first issue just for the obvious parody aspect.

Pleasantly surprised he's getting a push.
Thoughts on 'The Terrifics':
1) They sound like a band. I could picture them driving around the country solving mysteries and performing concerts.
2) They hit every beat of the Fantastic Four. Stretching character? Check. Super intelligent character? Check. Character who has horribly changed but wants to return to normal? Check. Invisible themed character? Check. Youthful fun personality character? Check.
The Gypsies had no home. The Doors had no bass.
Does our reality determine our fiction or does our fiction determine our reality?
Whenever the question comes up about who some mysterious person is or who is behind something the answer will always be Frank Stallone.
"This isn't a locking the barn doors after the horses ran way situation this is a burn the barn down after the horses ran away situation."
The Terrifics is an absolutely terrible name for a team. Really hope DC decides to change it before the launch.
Yeah they are being pretty open with what this book is supposed to be. Definitely DC's Fantatsic 4. It's pretty clever seeing as Marvel has buried the FF. maybe this book will bring in some of those disgruntled Marvel fans.
Oh it will
I'm one of them and this team sounds and looks fantastic.
Love the uniforms, something DC teams don't have.
Doc Shaner is doing the art after Ivan Reis.

If Doc Shaner does the art after ivan reis that's fine by me! the art looks great!!
Shaner is probablya much better fit for this than Reis, who should stay in JLA and actually draw a full arc for a change LOL.
hyped for the Terrifics

anyone see Mr. Terrific on Justice League Action?
The J-man
I'm super excited for the Terrifics but I'm a little wary of Lemire on writing duties. His last few attempts at books have been big no's for me. But it's going to be great to have him back and feel this series will reaffirm him as THE science guy of the DCU.
