Link vs. Samus

In the composite match I'd say that Link has the edge in durability since he's got a ton of magic abilities that grant invincibility, though most of them need to be activated and don't last that long.

With the last upgrade from Metroid Dread however Samus should have the edge in destructive output. Her unlimited Hyper Beam shreds every enemy and obstacle in her way and I don't think Link would last long against it. And maybe her energy draining ability could mess with his invincibility powers.

Era by era is difficult though. I'm thinking that Majora's Mask Link might have the best shot due to having the most verstile options against Samus. And more experience than most other Links.
