No one said Tony Stark yet, with the time travel younger self and then Franklin Richards merging dead Tony and him.

Wasn't that when Doom took over for Tony as Iron Man in Infamous Iron Man?

LOL! Everyone did their best, and I'll always applaud them for it...

Didn't Jean Gray come back because the Phoenix Force put her in a Cocoon? Or some S--- like that? Leading up to XFactor #1

Yeah, the Avengers retcon was Kurt doing his best with trying to make some sense out of The Crossing and Heroes Reborn/Return (Which he also did in Avengers Forever).

Colossus. Heroically sacrifices himself to cure the Legacy virus and is cremated. Later revealed to be yet another "body swap" story in Joss Whedon's grossly overrated X-Men run.

No. The one Will mentioned was in the aftermath of Heroes Reborn in the 1990s. Infamous Iron Man was in the 2010s.

To be fair, D-Man is a comedy character. Even his costume is just Daredevil's first one with one of Wolverine's masks in place of Matt's.

He did used to be written seriously though. In Thing and when he was one of Cap's partners...it was after that that writers started to crap all over him.
All I wanted was to be unconditionally loved while never having to work on my flaws. Is that so much to ask?

    Some examples:

I don't think it counts if the death and resurrection both take place within the same story. Because we have hundreds of those... with the original snap among them.
