I agree with this. Although Damien met the nu52 Earth 2 Helena and Bruce's knowledge of that hasn't (AFAIK) been explained, this is a simple "if my father dies before I'm born, I don't exist" thing. There shouldn't be any real surprise at figure from the future appearing to these folks. I don't think there's any doubt that Helena's not going back as her life's future path has been changed. And her existence might not be wiped out leaving future plots open.
