    I Love Lucy
    All In The Family
    Frasier
    Will & Grace
    The Mary Tyler Moore Show
Bewitched (more for the nostalgic comfort than the laughs)

I hope that Abbott Elementary maintains a high quality for four or five seasons and can go on my list one day. It’s my fave show right now.

I love a lot of other shows that are in this thread. But these are the ones I wouldn’t mind if someone put on an endless loop in my house.
“You see…the rest of them are soldiers. But [Wonder Woman] is an artist.”

I only support the made of clay origin.

I forgot WKRP because it’s not in reruns enough. It definitely should have been on my list!

Tough question as so many choices. I’ll stick to non streaming shows. These are the ones off the top of my head, shows that made me laugh out loud on multiple occasions:

    American

    M*A*S*H (Until Frank Leaves)
    Simpsons Golden Era (Years 2-11)
    Happy Days
    WKRP
    Bosom Buddies
    The Odd Couple
    SpongeBob SquarePants (first 3 seasons)
    Just Shoot Me
    Welcome Back, Kotter
    Three’s Company
    The Office

    British

    The Good Life
    Black Adder (all versions)
    Fawlty Towers
    The Office
    Fresh Meat
    The In-Betweeners
    Black Gold
The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin
    The Thick of It
    Yes (Prime) Minister

    All of these, plus Archer.

Carol Burnett show probably takes top spot.

Also from AndrewCrossett's list, I've been meaning to get around to watching Venture Brothers and Northern Exposure, both of which I've heard good things about.

I'm also a fan of a lot of shows that can be funny, with lots of witty, quippy banter, but are definitely not comedies, like iZombie or Buffy or Killjoys or Eureka.

Glad to hear it. With that being the case, my next choice would be...

    Hey Arnold!

It dropped off TV airings because all the music rights expired and there was basically nothing useable left.

But highly recommend the Shout! Factory DVD set, which managed to bring back about 90% of the original music.

I LOVED the Carol Burnett Show but I guess I always thought of it as a variety show and not a comedy (even though it was funny as heck).

    Great choice.

In no order, some would be:

    Strangers With Candy
    Get A Life
    Married with Children
    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
    Seinfeld
    Addams Family
    Curb Your Enthusiasm
    Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

Another great comedy that I don't believe has been mentioned is Living Single. A great and funny show about young singles in the 90s that debuted before Friends.
