Metal Gear Solid "Delta": Snake Eater remake; PS5 port of original trilogy

Kept you waiting, huh....(Sorry couldn't resist).



Announced at the Playstation showcase. A lot of the details are unclear (Kojima? Voice cast? etc.) but given the trailer's focus on Jungle fauna it's obvious the game's key survival mechanic will be intact.


Also a port of the first three (Unremade, presumabely) Solid games to PS5, "The Master collection"; it's Vol.1 so presumably a Volume 2 will include IV, V and perhaps the PSP and MSX games. Maybe Rising too.

So Kojima will not be involved but they will be using the original audio for the codec/cutscenes etc (I'm guessing they might rework some of the OST music though, although they'll probably leave the title track alone).

A somewhat awkwardly edited docu-advert in which Hayter doesn't bring up Kojima or could mention the title of the film the ! alert was used in (It's Wreck-It Ralph).

Says the next segment might focus on Delta though.

Wonder if he recorded any new dialogue for it.
