Honestly, I was never a fan of it to begin with. But then again, I was never a fan of almost any aspect of Morrison's run.

Keep in mind that you have about as much chance of changing my mind as I do of changing yours.
It did work as a one-time last-ditch effort from Bruce to endure a massive attack against his psyche but using it as "power-up" of sorts that every Batman in the multiverse can achieve is just stupid.
Hell it was specifically created cause he realized Hurt was unleashing a psychological attack on him.
It was a thing constructed for a specific purpose in mind. And again the way Zur is acting under Z'Darsky's pen is not at all how Zur acted under Morrison's story where he was more "Batman driven purely by instinct".
I feel like Bruce Wayne needs a break from Gotham after all this.
The story continues to be schizophrenic with little relation to previous issues. Bruce and Selina are now back to their kissy-kissy phase as if nothing happened, Selina was effectively duped by Vandal making all the batkids sans Damian look like complete idiots and Jason is in a much better state than he was in Batman and Howard is already setting up some science BS to undo it.
I still don't understand how editorial approved this story.
Batman was due for a summer event so they took the ongoing story and made it into an event.
Shame this story had to drag down Scandal with this crappy story.
I don't care about her costume, it's her characterization that's the issue.
She should be a shrewd and cunning force to be reckoned with, and severe issues working with her father.
Instead, she's just a barely average thug who thinks little of working with Savage. And no, playing Starscream doesn't help
