Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War – Battle Lines #1 Preview (Unlettered)
Writers: Chip Zdarsky and Tini Howard
Artists: Mike Hawthorne and Adriano Di Benedetto
I wonder how much longer we'll have metal hand Bruce?
So Selina makes her pitch to the Bat-Family (in a strip club because of course) and I guess that's when we see the lines drawn.
We've got Bruce, Dick, Babs, Jason, Duke, Cass (?), Steph, and Kate. I don't see Tim unless he's sitting with Steph and Cass is with Duke, but I also don't see Damian.
Not going to lie, for a couple of seconds, on that last page I was very confused about why Sinestro was sitting with the Bat-family.
the art looks.......not inspired

They're all just sitting there with their masks off? What the hell.
I haven't kept up with continuity lately, but I find it surprising that she would know the identities of the entire family, and that Batman would be so nonchalant about everyone sitting down in a public place in their costumes with no masks (notice he still has his on). The kids might not think anything of it, but it seems doubly uncharacteristic for Kate.
And honestly, not sure if Jason's "Look Ma, I ain't dead anymore!" announcement back in his solo series was ever acknowledged outside of it. Like a lot of his lore.
But yeah. I can see them at least being open with Selina, but not in such a public place. And Selina, looks like what the 1980s described as "a cheap hooker" with that clown makeup on her.
Damian not being there, that could be attributed to needing someone to patrol, or he's hanging out with his friends. He is at that age, as well, upbringing notwithstanding.
Trust or no trust, there is no reason to remove their masks since everyone knows everyone already.
