They do retaliate. Major problem is there seems to be no cohesion between writers and it is feeling legit rushed. Jason finally calls out Selina for what Bruce and Damien warned her about and he hat willing helped to create so,he could stop it. He trained people who worked for Scarecrow, Two Face, Joker to be better and potentially more brutal thieves. He even told Selina this doomed to failure. But there is no follow up from Catwoman 57 about what Bruce allegedly did to Jason or the Vandal Savage surprise. Like I said no cohesion. Not bad but unfocused
