So are Baman and Catwoman fighting against each other or together against someone else?

I mean the Title of the Article says "Batman vs Catwoman", but the title of the Series is "Batman/Catwoman" sounds more like a team up, and non of the quotes by the writers say anything about them fighting each other.

There's nothing I find interesting in this.

Another war in Gotham? Feels like that's all they know how to do.

From the premise it makes it sound like Batman is going to come back and be a hostile and judgemental jerk, and knowing Tini Howard's writing he's probably going to be incompetent and uncompromising so we're rooting for everybody but Batman. Watch Selina lecture Bruce about how he's failed Gotham and how she had to kill Valmont, the man she loved, just to protect him.

What even are the sides here? What's the main issue? Catwoman working with criminals? Punchline (which is pretty dumb)? Shouldn't they be teaming-up and taking that clown psycho down once and for all unless she still has plot armor?

Watch Punchline be the only character who actually wins in this story.

It would be weird for anyone else to join Selina besides Jason, since he's the only one getting a miniseries out of this. Why single him out if that's not the case?

I used to say it was fascinating to compare how well DC protected Batman with how poorly Marvel handled Spider-Man, but now the two are in the exact same position for the exact same reasons! Editorial wants them kept in amber because they’re afraid letting them change would negatively impact sales, but no one seems to have any real idea about what to do with them beyond rehashing the popular stories of the past. Should’ve let Bruce and Selina get married, that would have reinvigorated Batman to some extent by changing his status quo enough to keep people interested, and Selina could have filled the hole that Alfred dying has left.

Instead I expect this event to firmly drive a stake in the relationship for now.

I just read Catwoman 50-55 and have to say I'm firmly on Selina's side. Her book is amazing, it's as enjoyable as any version of her I've encountered, and that's a whole kindle of kittens.

I left with Joelle Jones and came back with his death so it's great to me.

Amygdala‘s death could be an issue for Dick. If he’s involved.
