Briefly in Red Hood and a cameo in Titans Academy.

Yeah, he appeared several times in TTA, he was a teacher's aide and leader of the Teen Titans upperclassmen team (he and Jakeem Thunder joined the four remaining members of Damian's team - Crush, Roundhouse, Red Arrow, and Kid Flash - when the Academy opened).

Enough to confirm that New 52 TT still happened anyway, though we can assume events played out differently as Tim and Cassie should now have known each other already and they'd know immediately that Bar-Torr is not Bart Allen.

I really like Monkey Prince and the We Are Legends characters all have a lot of potential.

I think if we talking just about comics Damian was pretty much the only character they have introduced since than that was reasonably successful.

There were couple like Kate Kane, Jon Kent or Jessica Cruz that had potential, but where I think DC Botched it.

Hmmm, since 2003... I'd say (in no particular order):

    1 - Jaime Reyes/ Blue Beetle
    2 - Nix Uotan/ Superjudge
    3 - Damian Wayne/ Robin
    4 - Jon Samuel Kent/ Superboy
    5 - Jessica Cruz/ Green Lantern
    6 - Court of Owls
7 - all the characters of the Emotional Spectrum (Sinestro Corps, Red Lantern, Blue Lanterns etc)
    8 - Kate Kane/ Batwoman
    9 - Yara Flor/ Wonder Girl
    10 - Veronica Cale

I would put him on the list but he’s divisive.

Some fans and creators (Mark Waid) don’t like the idea of Superman having a kid. Then there’s the whole thing of DC/Bendis aging him up which pissed off fans of younger Jon. With 5G and rumors coming out of the WB world, it seemed like they were positioning Jon to take over as Superman and phase out Clark. None of that happened and now we’re stuck with Superman having an 18 year old son who also calls himself Superman.

Not to mention that teenJon is pretty much directionless and only serving as a way for Taylor to reference Injustice and such now. With the ongoing canceled and short mini right now is all he has. Even in other Super books, he's just another body now to throw against threats.

Hopefully, after the positive reception of the Super Sons movie, the failure that teenJon has become, kid Jon comes back.

Grown-Jon's sexuality may make it less likely they'd de-age him at this point.
