Rocketman and Rocketgirl were included in artwork for Project Superpowers in the past (2008), but I don't know if they were ever included in the stories.

It appears that Rocketman & Rocketgirl first appeared in Scoop Comics #1 (November 1941) published by "Dynamic Publications, Inc." out of Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Here are the first three pages from that story:

Back in late March I believe.

I picked up a copy last week when I happened to stumble upon it on the shelves.

I kept hoping somebody else who bought / read this might post something.

    Silly me.

I liked it. Nothing Earth-shattering, but a fun little story set during a time period I enjoy.

And while there was nothing in the story itself that seemed to me to tie it in to previous Project Superpowers stories, the inside front cover does mention previous Project Superpowers books / characters.
