Hmm. I would be more excited by Selene's return if it wasn't for Gillenister.

It's very interesting how knowingly trapped within himself Piotr is and feels. He's aware he's severely compromised but can't do anything about it. I wonder who will be the one to eventually save him?

So happy with this preview. The letterless one from a while back had me concerned that the possessed Piotr, removing power from 1/3 of the council and giving your vote to someone else if you can't make it would get lost with Fall of X coming up, but it looks like that might not happen. Depends on how quickly everything gets resolved and what happens after fall though.

Shaw has worked with Orchis (or the Hellfire brats), Mother Righteous and I wouldn't rule out he's talking to Mickail. He's coming out of DoX as a winner it seems (which fits Gillen's narrative, I think).

The bolded are still on the council but can't currently vote as they may be compromised/Sinisterized. Storm is still on it as well but gave her vote to Colossus when she can't be present.

Sinister is in the Pit for his Sins.
If Kurt and Ororro aren't there Piotr gets to use their votes.
The Council thinks Emma, Xaiver, Exodus and Hope could still be tainted by Sinister so they're only on the Council to not spread alarm.

OMG!!

Not going to lie, i'm a bit of a hypocrite here. I was rolling my eyes thinking how heavy handed this is, how ridiculous this is coming off , let's not act like a telepath couldn't contact kurt and ororo, and then i saw Selene and didn't care. Yay!
