I got hung up on the first panel reusing the same tree side by side.

This will probably be in my pull list so I will make sure I go into it just wanting to enjoy it but so much of this preview bugs me I worry about the writing in the rest of it. Hopefully the plot has some interesting twists that set up Fall of X.

Im just waiting for the apologists to show up saying things like "Magneto wasn't serious. He was just posturing." No, he wasn't. The undertones of the Krakoa era have been quite obvious. Especially if you consider this was created by Hickmann who judging by his other projects clearly has found a fondness for this entire gods business.

Yeah Hickman has a fondness of the whole "übermenschen who see themselves above others" thing going all the way back to his F4 run with the Council of Reeds and then to New Avengers with the Illuminati and now history is again repeating itself.
