Some of that stuff is embarrassing.
I hope cbr isn't changed too much. It's one of the last comic book related boards where there's a bit of sanity.

I am very saddened to read this. IMO this is the best message board for comic book fans. The format sometimes takes a while for new users to get used to but you have a lot of freedom here. There is really nothing like it IMO.
I also saw the news that the former owner of the site, Jonah Weiland, has just been hired as a VP at DC comics. Good for him! As the article states, he practically invented comic news sites like this when CBR started 21 years ago. Congrats to him! He will be heading the the Trade Marketing, Consumer Marketing, and Design/Creative Services teams.

No I believe it was either Valvenet or whatever they were who decided to stop using the forums to advertise the 1st page of CBR years ago. This was on TV/Film board then. I was so happy to see that ended.
