Of course it can equally be a good motivation to not be one .

That's a fair point. If she was 10 in her last appearance in 2011 (not really sure), she should be like 13 now.

Not sure how old she was back than, but she should likely be around the age of Damian or Wally's kids.

But it is not like they had to bring Sin back if they didn't want a kid character. She has basically been in limbo or out of continuity for over a decade at this point. And there would have been other characters they could have used.

Great issue however the chromatic aberration is good with Romero's arts but I think it spoil Pina's.

I agree with this especially reading it digitally. The first issue worked well but every issue since except that fill-in issue has given me a headache. I wish they'd just drop that whole thing. I get what they're trying to do but it's kinda ruining the art for me.

One of the things that they could have leaned into was the Dinah at a time in her life DIDN'T want to be a parent. When she finally decided to start a family, was was infertile due to trauma (this was in the old Mike Grell GREEN ARROW series). In some ways, Sin was the child that Dinah wanted to have. Gail Simone did an excellent job laying the foundation of that relationship.

Now we have a Sin that, honestly, bears no resemblance to that character we met in the old BIRDS OF PREY. It's just sad and disappointing (it also really abuses the comic character sliding age of heroes, tbh).

I know that they have their fans, but two Batgirls in one book is a lot.

I kinda liked the political thriller/ intrigue of Gail's old series. I don't see that happening any time soon here - but wish it was. I'm not sure there is enough of a reason to keep this current team together besides 'keep Batgirl safe'.
