I'm not a fan of how Felicia is written here. I get trying to cheer Peter up, but this is a farcry from how well she was written in Beyond when she was trying to help Peter feel better

It's hard not to read it as a meta-comment to the audience too. "C'mon! Lighten up! Enough grumbling. Comics should be fun so look over here! Thwip! Thwip!"

The only thing I can say is I like that Shocker is in the preivew and written kind of okay, but as a joke character, but in the context of the last arc, this feels like no one dies kind of Peter, but with Felicia trying to make him be "fun" and move on from someone dying in his arms.

So are they going to break up because Peter is being a killjoy? I dunno, I get Felicia trying to get him to lighten up but this feels a little like their BND dynamic and it all just feels in bad taste with the prior issue.
