This Post Contains No Artificial Intelligence. It Contains No Human Intelligence Either.
Mine too. Have you seen this news.
Director Michael Giacchino to battle giant, nuclear ants in remake of 1950s creature feature 'Them!'
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Heck, I'd settle for more signs of intelligent life DOWN HERE.
I've actually seen two UFOs. Now I want to be clear here, when I say UFOs I mean exactly that and no more - Unidentified Flying Objects, not space invaders. Just because I can't identify what I saw with any known object doesn't mean I believe we're being visited by beings from outer space. Great claims require great evidence, and the claim of other lifeforms visiting us requires actual flesh and blood evidence, like an actual alien we can poke and prod a bit before it tires of our antics. Personally what I believe I saw I'm more inclined to give an earthly origin to - top secret military aircraft. During the decades the US was developing stealth aircraft these strange looking jets caused hundreds of UFO sightings, and I seriously doubt my government has stopped testing and flying new aircraft unlike anything I'm used to seeing in the air since the stealth bomber became public. If anything with the advancement of drone warfare I believe there was probably an increase in such testing for a time - it's probably not coincidental that both my sightings happened during the early years in the war on terror/Afghanistan/Iraq. I'll probably see these aircraft again, or some version of them, in a future war my country stumbles into. Just because I believe what I saw back then has an earthly explanation however doesn't make them any less UFOs than if I was talking about spacecraft from "out there." It's still unidentified and unlike any aircraft I've seen before or since, and I live close to Pensacola, home to both a large airport and a Navy base (and home to the Blue Angels!) so I've seen a lot of planes and jets and helicopters, and these two were very different.
Ezra Klein had an interesting interview with Leslie Kean, the reporter on a few recent major UFO stories.
