Since it's Al Ewing, I'm kind of hoping that this Victor Shade will have something to do with the Anti-Vision from the Gatherers. He was last seen in the 90s Vision mini, still in the 616, and never used again.

The description does call him a villain, so it probably is Anti-Vision. Maybe that's why Vision no longer uses the Victor Shade alias.

Yes. It definitely is. ALL X books end by Christmas, ready for a relaunch in January.

Though Ewing has done four books at the same time before - Ultimates2, Royals, Rocket, and U.S.Avengers.
