Janet in a Superhero noir series is interesting (in Ewing we trust) though I hope we do get to see her in some proper costumes.

Also Ewing trying to downplay the whole romantic angle of a "will they or won't they" but I wonder if it might just happen with this version of Victor Shade.

I guess it plays to Ewing's strengths which is more cerebral, genre-bending, adventures with plenty of continuity nuggets over straight-up Superheroics.

That would be cool More of a darker tone like the old detective movies. Not make it all bright and shiny.

Janet solving murder mysteries? That sounds like a fun time. Seriously, size changer heroes would be perfect in mystery stories because their ability to shrink is perfect for spy missions. This has me interested.

No, it is not out of continuity. It is picking up on a cliffhanger from the end of his WASP miniseries from earlier this year.
