Yes, for me too. Marvel has been a let down for me way too many times in recent years. However, I like the creative team, like the characters (though I expect to see more), and especially would be intrested if the theories of it being the Anti-Vision and the big mystery of the "death of Hank Pym" prove themselves true.

Agreed. I'm mostly hit but some miss on Ewing and I've always liked Jan, so I'm down for seeing her continue her front-and-center return after the Wasp mini.

That said...something that I do find irritating is when they title a book using the name of a known team but then don't actually put a team in it. I'm hopeful the early news focusing on just Jan and Victor Shade is the starting point for a larger group. Because if it's ultimately a Wasp solo series (or Wasp and Shade) but they're calling it "Avengers" to drive up sales, that's going to leave a real sour taste in my mouth.

That cover reminds me of the UK series called The Avengers.

Janet as a John Steed type bringing in a partner or two works for me. Both Janet and Steed have a style to them.

Being a direct sequel to the Wasp solo mini, it would be odd for Nadia and Jarvis to not be involved. They're just not the leads.

And yeah, pretty funny that this premise sounds a lot like Steed and Peel. They could market the trade in the UK with the tagline "The Avengers - Avengers style".

Looking forward to this. I want to know what happened to Dave Cannon. He was always one of my favorite B villains. Plus the possible return of Hank Pym. Definitely looking forward to this.

I’ve enjoyed both issues, but I can’t shake the feeling that the book has a very “limited series” vibe to it...it seems to be continuing past #5, but #10? I’m just not sure!
