New Birds of Prey series by Kelly Thompson and Leo Romero - will you buy it?

What are your thoughts on buying the new Birds of Prey series by Kelly Thompson and Leo Romero coming out this fall: will you buy it, or is there a member for the first story that may cause you to pass on this?

But I don't trust DC regardless of sales or quality.

I will buy this, simply for Canary (and Kelly Thompson) but I will probably be vocal about my dislike for harley. As for the sales aspect of the book, I think Kelly brings a lot of good will with fans along with her. I don't think Romero is the right artist for the book, I will be happy to be proven wrong though, but I do wish they would have given the book a slicker artistic direction. Birds of Prey's artistic history has been Gary Frank, Nicola Scott, Matt Haley, Ed Benes among others...those are really big shoes to fill.

Kelly Thompson is a fantastic writer and Romero's art is great so it's a no brainer for me.

I will keep tabs on how fans respond to it, and if the buzz is positive I will most likely grab the first trade at least.

I don't expect my opinion on Harley's involvement to change though.

Harley was a deal-breaker for me. Will start buying from the next arc if the reshuffling gets rid of her.

I've stopped buying monthly comics, but might get the TPB if it gets good reviews.

I don’t buy physical or digital comics anymore. I may check it out on DCUI Ultra if what interest I have lasts that long.

I almost never read monthly comics anymore, and none of the characters I’ll make an exception for (the JSA, Jonah Hex, Stephanie Brown, Tim Drake, Young Justice) are on this team, so probably not. But I do like Kelly Thompson, so if there’s a strong Steph presence in the supporting cast (or, like, they add Tallulah Black for an arc or something), I’ll strongly consider it.

Cass is her successor i always hoped she would be on that team

Undecided. Will see what previews have to say for themselves. Like Dinah and Cass,like Thompson. Like Harley too, but really, really really don't like her being here. So we'll see.
