    Default RIP John Romita Sr.

    1930-2023

Comic book legend behind iconic Spider-Man runs. Co-creator of Wolverine and the Punisher. Of course, co-creator of countless Spider-Man characters.

Oh wow, this one hurts real bad. He was such a legend, one of the true greatest up there with amazing names like Ditko, Perez, Miller. Easily my favorite classic Spidey artist.

Been re-reading a lot of older books to remind myself of why I fell in love with this book. He’s been on a mind a lot. Loss of a true legend.

    R.I.P. to a true legend.

First Stan, then Ditko, and now Romita. Strange that all of Spider-Man's "fathers" are gone. And yes, even though Romita didn't create Spider-Man, there's no question that he had a hand in making the Spider-Man that we know today. He will definitely be missed but forever remembered.

My deepest condolences to the family, his friends, and all his fans.

It's really sad when legends leave us.
