Spider-Man became Marvel's top title with Romita.
If he hadn't been as good, it could easily have declined from its peak like Thor did. And that was with an all-star like John Buscema. The book would've continued, but it might not have ever been as big.Sincerely,

I was off the net a lot yesterday, working all day and whatnot. Didn’t see this news until way late in the evening. May he rest in peace. Well into his 90’s, I imagine he lived a very good life.
