I agree totally, a legend who deserved the status. He created the LOOK that would define what Spider-man would become.

A founding father to the best comic book character of all time,my favorite, and an enduring icon of american culture. A modern legend that probably never quite got enough recognition for being the second guy instead of the first but nearly if not just as important. RIP JRSR, a life well done.

Sad news. The defining Spidey artist in my book.
ETA: I’ve just recently read the first dozen Lee/Ditko Spider-Man stories and now I have to take back what I wrote. Ditko is the defining Spidey artist, while Romina Sr. is my personal favorite.Last edited by Largo161; 07-04-2023 at 05:23 PM.
