I would add the Skipper from Gilligan's Island. I loved his expressive looks he gave the audience. Liked Gilligan, was in love with Mary Ann, but thought the Skipper made the show.

80s ninja turtles
the mask from the 90s cartoon

Apparently Woody Allen's fourth wall breaking moment in ANNIE HALL was inspired by Bob Hope. In many a movie, Hope would break the fourth wall to talk to the audience. To make this television related, if you watch any of the skits he did on T.V., I'm sure you'll find Bob breaking character to talk to the camera.
