Default Best Comic Book Covers Depicting Each Of Kal's Powers

I have this idea for a graphic.

9 comic book covers, arranged in a 3x3 format, each cover clearly displaying a power of Superman.

    Two challenges here.

    A. Coming up with 9 distinct powers that can be clearly shown on a comic book cover.

I got 1. strength, 2. speed, 3. invulnerability, 4. flight, 5. heat vision, 6. super breath, and then the next 3 we get into some options between his various sensory powers and solar absorption, and maybe some other obscure powers.

    B. What are the comic book covers that best visualize reach of these powers?

Strength has to be Action Comics #1 (1938).

    Perfection there.

But the rest? Not sure at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, since we have strength, here are speed and invulnerability

    Superman's super brain, sort of.

If I had to name three others I'd say super stamina, x-ray vision, and tactile telekinesis. His vaunted intelligence is a character trait imo, since it doesn't go away under a red sun or anything

Genuine question: Is there a better cover depicting Kal's heat vision than Superman (vol 2) #218?

My own choice would have been Superman #209 or Adventures of Superman #620 because they clearly indicate heat without relying on words or other context, but that one has a really bold image. Man of Steel #45 is great but he's arguably hard to identify on the cover. I liked that one Jim Lee variant from the recent Justice League too.

    X-ray vision
