In terms of brute strength? no. But Mera is Queen of Atlantis because she can and has beaten Aquaman. Yes, a lot of that is her ability to use water like a Green Lantern makes constructs with a ring.

As an Atlantean for a time, she had a great deal of power, but still nothing approaching what she had when she was a Kryptonian. As for the Eclipsing thing, I don't think it gives an already superpowered being too much more power, did it? I just think that was the way Arthur was being written at the time.
